Cashflows is a fintech payments company that makes it easy for businesses to accept card and digital payments. They use Salesforce to manage their customer data, and to carry out integrations to downstream systems for credit and AML checking purposes.
After years of contractor build, fragmented process implementation and poor solution documentation, Cashflows needed a trusted partner to keep their system operable, while building out enhancements and reducing technical debt.
We began by carrying out a full Salesforce org review and Health Check. Our team then facilitated a number of user interviews to better understand and document Cashflows' current business processes.
The health check covered all aspects of Cashflows’ org, from data, metadata, code coverage and more, allowing them to baseline the system before making any changes.
Our interviews enabled us to implement a repeatable, automated DevOps process using best practice tools like Git and Gearset, to consume business demand and make agile changes to a business critical system.
Cashflows are now able to realise business demand 75% faster than before, and moved from a single release per month (at best), to a release every week.
Following the realisation that their org was old, poorly maintained, and littered with technical debt, they can now plan a better future state.
